Anno nuovo, premi nuovi. Quando mancano all’incirca due mesi alla fatidica e attesissima note degli Oscar, si è svolta a Los Angeles la 73° cerimonia di consegna dei Golden Globe Awards. Il colpo grosso è riuscito a The ravenant, la nuova fatica di Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu che, dopo aver fatto incetta di statuette lo scorso anno con Birdman, in attesa di conoscere i vincitori dei prossimi Oscar, si accaparra tre Golden Globe: miglior film drammatico, miglior regia e miglior attore protagonista in un film drammatico a Leonardo Di Caprio che può ben sperarare in una vittoria finale. Ma attenzione a Bryan Cranston e il suo Trumbo. Gloria anche per Jennifer Lawrence, Matt Damon e Sylvester Stallone, inossidabile ironman di Hollywood. Stravince la competizione per il milgior film animato Inside out della Pixar, così come Il figlio di Saul domina nella sezione per il miglior film straniero. Orgoglio italiano in estasi grazie alla vittoria del maestro Ennio Morricone, all’opera in The hateful eight di Quentin Tarantino. Infine, applausi per Aaron Sorkin, premiato per la miglior sceneggiatura per Steve Jobs.

Durante la 73° cerimonia di consegna dei Golden Globe Awards si è assistito al trionfo di Mr. Robot come miglior serie drammatica, premio affiancato da Christian Slater in veste di miglior attore non protagonista in una serie drammatica. Nella sezione comedy spicca Mozart in the jungle, al quale si aggiunge il riconoscimento per Gael Garcia Bernal come miglior attore in una serie comedy. Gloria (quasi) annunciata per Jon Hamm, premiato come miglior attore protagonista in una serie drammatica, per l’ultima stagione di Mad men, e Taraji P. Henson, miglior attrice in una serie drammatica grazie a Empire. Wolf hall strappa a sorpresa il premio per la miglior mini-serie a Fargo, mentre le statuette per le migliori interpretazioni maschili e femminili nella medesima sezione sono stati assegnati a Oscar Isaac (Show me a hero) e, sorpresa tra le sorprese, a Lady Gaga (American horror story – Hotel).
